How it works

Parlin turns speech into text on your Mac, fully offline. Record a meeting and get a clean transcript with notes, hold a shortcut to dictate into any app, or drop an audio file or paste a media URL to transcribe it. Whisper runs locally for transcription, and a bundled on-device model cleans up grammar and punctuation, or bring your own Ollama model. Auto-detects 16 languages, learns your product names with a Developer Dictionary, and exports to TXT, SRT, or VTT with word-level timestamps. Audio never leaves the machine.
